Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (A.O.C.) CLAIRETTE DE DIE.
Clairette blanche : 10 % à 25 % Muscat blanc : 75 % à 90 %
Ancestral Dioise Method : After pressing, juices are filtered. The half-fermented must is bottled
and fermentation continues in the bottle from the natural sugar of the grape,
thus giving a naturally sparkling wine. Disgorging is carried out at least
4 months after bottling, while the wine still contains sugar and has reached
an alcohol content of 7 to 8 %. The Dioise method gives a wine without added
sugar or liquor.
Sparkling wine with very fine bubbles, light in alcohol (7 to 8°), still containing residual sugars (incomplete fermentation). This wine is marked by the refined Muscat flavours (rose fragrance) which only the Dioise method can develop. A highly original wine unique amongst sparkling wines : it is the only naturally Muscat sparkling wine, and the only one, which is so light in alcohol.
An
ideal Wine for all desserts, including ice creams, and marries
perfectly with « foie gras ». It is especially suitable for
daytime meetings and cocktail parties.
Serve very cool (6 to 8°C). Wine to be consumed young, to conserve the full flavours of fruit and flower. To be kept with the bottles lying flat, in a cool place away from light. |
